HYDRATE WITH US!

Hi there! It’s Jill and Coco here at Willow Spa! Today we’d like to invite you to join us in a 30 day water challenge.

We all know drinking water is important for good health, but it can be very challenging to get enough water daily. In fact most people don’t drink enough which leads to skin problems, headaches and many other health issues. So come join us! We promise you, if you commit to the 30 days starting October 17th, you will see amazing results on your skin and the way you feel!

  • So what are the rules?

Drink water Daily for 30 days! Reduce and eliminate sweetened tea, coffee, soda and juices

  • How much water should you drink? 

This will depend on many factors like your diet, level of activity, environment and your size. A good place to start is to drink half your body weight in ounces. For ie. if you weigh 120 lbs. Divide that in half and you get 60. Drink 60 ounces a day!

So by October 17TH we’ll set our daily water goal and you set yours! Then follow us on Instagram @willowsantamonica and our new page @willowliving. We’ll be posting helpful tips and fun prizes to keep you motivated and on track!

 

*When should you drink water and how often?

DO NOT DRINK your entire daily requirement at once! Drink throughout the day for best results and to avoid harm to your body.

Drink 1-2 glasses upon waking up to activate your internal organs.  This first glass of water should have lemon or apple cider vinegar to balance your PH level in your body and boost your digestion.

Drink 1 glass of water 30 min before each meal to help aid in digestion.

Drink 1 glass of water before taking a bath or shower. Did you know that studies show this can help lower blood pressure?

Drink 1 glass of water before going to bed. This has been shown to reduce the risk of heart attacks and stroke.
