As always, new ideas require a lot of planning meetings, which we usually enjoy doing with our favorite coffee drink and laptop computer in tow. However, as we embark upon our detox, we have switched to tea. Another difference is that we will start handwriting some of our notes instead of just typing them into our laptops. We recently learned that our brains may work differently when writing with a hand held instrument. Studies show that there are two areas in our brain that are stimulated and these areas are involved in execution, imagery and observation of actions. We won’t be giving up our laptops anytime soon, but we will be putting a pen to paper more often!
